Boat has just had a complete bottom job and interior. new wood sub floors! Top Deck non-skid has been repainted,
From the Owner:
New Cabin Floor!!!.I cleaned and painted the bottom, no blisters, no damage, painted it with only one coat of ABC light blue, I would have done two coats but I had no time.I took out the old toilet and replaced it on request of my daughter for a new electric one. Still not connected. For our runabout I purchased a brand new 11 foot dinghy RIB. West Marine. The 15 hp out board engine had a new impeller and tail grease in July. Not used since. The main engine has been serviced in august 2014 new impeller, new Racor filter, new oil, new inline fuel filter. Runs like a Rolex. Then I cleaned, repaired where necessary and painted the deck, sand color Glidden for extensive use paint. Bought an extra anchor and chain, so now there are three anchors and a Grapnel dinghy anchor. The Danforth is installed, ready for use at the stern. Since it is only me and my daughter we don't need so many bunks, so I changed the starboard Q birth to a well organized storage space with a workbench. I also purchased many spare parts and tools, all is on photos and with descriptions.
Things still to do
Replace the zinc on the shaft. Add a zinc to the hull, check the wind generator. Connect the water hoses of the new toilet. Paint the stern. One bolt is missing in the midship's end of the stainless steel handrail at starboard side. Connect the solar panels, they are in good working order, but disconnected, I moved them from the deck in front of the dodger to hanging of the ss handrail at either side. For a better division of weight hang the outboard engine on the port side in stead of the starboard side. Make a Bimini, the tubes for the frame are on board, material is not.make cushions for the cockpit. The diesel tank is full, however there is algae in it. So I disconnected and used three yellow five gallon tanks for the time being. The tank is easy accessible, or do as I had planned, fill the three cannisters from it through the Racor filter. It will take some time but does not cost anything and the 36 Gls in the tank don't go to waste.
